Attending a volunteer educational event by the Patriot Precincts Project is in itself, often a very informative experience and fulfilling, especially food wise. But having special guests show up unannounced for some inspiring words, is an absolute bonus. Welcome to the Turn Out the Vote training on Saturday, February 24 at the Long Beach Trump HQ.
Technical issues (that tricky HDMI cable) delayed the start of the presentation. No worries. Tim O Reilly, current LAGOP chair, had stopped by to see the Trump Grassroots HQ
and offer his support. He immediately stepped up to give the group a state of the LAGOP speech, sharing our positive gains in voter registration and enhanced voter data. It was a very encouraging bit of news.
Meanwhile, two additional guests arrived as a complete surprise. Our benefactor and office donor, Brett Taylor, came with the renowned Trump surrogate and Fox personality, George Papadopoulus. The crowd went absolutely wild upon recognizing him. The author of his best-selling book DEEP STATE TARGET, spoke on the urgent need for local grassroots mobilization. He applauded the group for generously sacrificing their free time on a Saturday morning to learn politics, especially back to basics politics. And offered his book for free to patriots planning on attending our next Volunteer event. Such generosity!
After thanking our VIPs for their time with us, it was back to business. Cynthia Gabaldon, our
very qualified trainer, proceeded to educate the group on creative ways to Get Out the Vote. Back to basics, common sense efforts to turn our republican friends to vote whether by mail or in person. Then, candidates John Cruikshanks (Supervisory District 4 LA County) and Judge David Milton (LA County DA) shared their agenda with the voters in the room.
Following the session, lunch was served. Deliciously prepared by our volunteers, Myta Schmidt, Mary Chase, and Vicky Perez, the group was ready for the next activation. The three options were:
Precinct walking in Lakewood with John Cruikshank team
Overpass rally around the corner on Cherry over the 405 Fwy
Watch a video on How to Stop election fraud through TROs (temporary restraining orders) presented by EIP and United Sovereign America. Some attendees stayed after lunch to go over their ballots with PPP before turning them in. The Trump HQ is now a BALLOT COLLECTION CENTER for Republican voters.**
All in all, it was another successful grassroots event in LA County. Thank you to all who came!
